European Dynamics seeks a seasoned Solution Architect in Strasbourg, France. The role requires TOGAF practitioner certification, 10+ years in IT and 5+ years as an architect, with strong experience in software development, cloud and on‑prem infrastructure, and agile environments.

The candidate will design architectural models, define components, and ensure effective governance and integration across a broad portfolio of software, cloud and data projects, using Sparx EA and related tools.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline with 10+ years of IT experience.
• Minimum 5 years as a technology architect, data architect or applications/services architect.
• Experience in software development.
• Experience of on-premise, virtualization and cloud-based Infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Experience of working in an agile software development environment.
• Experience with OCP, Postgres and Kafka.
• Knowledge of architecture solutions design across software, cloud and data projects.
• Hands-on knowledge of architecture tools (e.g. Sparx EA).
• Excellent knowledge of architecture design and project management.
• Excellent command of English.

Responsabilités

• Understand, interpret and respond to detailed business requirements specifications and implement that understanding in architecture solutions and specifications.
• Customize and use architecture, modelling or design tools to develop.
• Design conceptual architecture models using client standards, define components, and reuse existing system components.
• Design, develop, test and deploy customized artefacts (reports, data export/import scripts, diagrams, layouts, tool configuration).
• Identify system, infrastructure and project interdependencies to balance demands and ensure deliverables.
• Assess usage of modelling tools and advise on governance, conventions, procedures and configurations for effective usage.
