European Agency in Strasbourg seeks a Security Architect Specialist to shape the security architecture and support its mission. This on-site role collaborates with enterprise teams to design robust controls for networks, data centres, applications and endpoints.

The candidate will develop security standards, reference architectures, and roadmaps, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and contractual obligations, and will participate in risk assessment and incident response planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of higher education (master degree or equivalent) after secondary schooling.
• At least 6 years of professional IT security experience, incl. 4+ years in security architecture.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure domains: networks, servers, storage, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance (ISO, NIST, CobiT).

Responsabilités

• Support the Agency's Security Officers in developing and maintaining the security architecture with the Enterprise Architect.
• Create and manage security standards, design patterns and reference architectures.
• Analyse and define solution security requirements for networks, applications, and data centres.
• Develop and maintain the organizational security technology framework.
• Ensure IT security controls meet regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security technologies are integrated and used correctly.
• Monitor and analyse trends in IT security.
• Develop strategic and detailed roadmaps for enterprise security environments.
• Produce business, information, and technical artifacts for enterprise security architecture.
• Research, evaluate, design, test, and plan new or updated information security technologies.
