Job summary

Greenvolt Next France is seeking a Senior Solar Design Engineer (C&I Solar PV) to lead the technical design for Commercial & Industrial rooftop and carport PV projects in France. You will define design criteria, validate energy simulations, and ensure robust solutions before handover to execution teams.

The role requires a Master’s in a relevant field and at least 5 years of solar PV engineering experience in the French C&I market.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of solar PV engineering experience.
Strong experience in French C&I PV market, rooftop and carport design.
Proven budgeting, pre‑sales and tender engineering experience.
Experience reviewing technical and financial project assumptions.

Responsibilities

Act as the senior technical reference for C&I rooftop and carport PV projects in France.
Define and standardize design criteria for rooftop/carport interfaces and LV/MV systems.
Review layouts, energy simulations, electrical concepts, and project budgets.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams.
