Speechify is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Core Experiences Team. This role focuses on building foundational services and SDKs powering Speechify across platforms, combining product and infrastructure work to design reliable APIs and simple systems.

You’ll work with cross‑functional teams, shipping Kotlin-based cloud functions and backend services, with a passion for performance, scalability, and a strong collaborative culture in a fast‑growing, remote startup environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform architecture.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Ability to design scalable APIs and services.
• Strong collaboration with product, marketing, and PMs.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with Product Teams to scope projects and deliver SDKs.
• Optimize functionality for faster loading and parsing by designing efficient abstractions.
• Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.
