ENTER THE GAME

As a Senior .NET Software Engineer, and as part of one of the squads within the Sport Tribe, you will be responsible for building the best possible experience for our players, through the quality of your work and by improving the existing codebase.

At Betclic, technological performance is at the heart of everything we do:

• In-house developed applications for full control over the value chain: real-time segmentation, player protection through awareness and rule integration, risk detection, and more.

• User interfaces designed for an immersive player experience: highly secure, capable of handling massive traffic spikes, and integrating live-streamed sports events.

• Tech teams organized into autonomous squads and tribes, each responsible for a specific functional and technical domain, enabling end-to-end project ownership: development, load testing, delivery, and production monitoring (monitoring, alerting).

By joining our teams, you will become part of a Fullstack team with a DevOps mindset, allowing you to grow by working alongside Backend and Frontend developers, testers, and other complementary skill sets.

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC

In this role, your main missions will be:

• Develop a Cloud-first architecture using innovative technologies

• Design and implement product-oriented features within your team

• Actively participate in our code review process on GitHub

• Conduct technical studies to propose the best solutions for the identified needs

• "You build it, you run it": take part in regular deployments and monitor the platform

Technical environment:

• C# / .NET 8

• Cloud-first: AWS / Terraform as Infrastructure as Code OR Azure / Container App

• Databases: MongoDB, Redis OR SQL Server / CosmosDB

• Messaging: Kafka OR SNS/SQS

• APIs: REST or gRPC

• Datadog: Logs, APM, Alerting, etc.

• Low latency / High availability / High data volumes

WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?

If your application is selected, Mathilde will contact you within a week for a 30-minute HR pre-screening.

You will then meet one of Betclic’s Engineering Managers.

Next, you’ll be asked to complete a technical test with one of our .NET experts.

We’ll also invite you to take the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation, and reasoning).

Finally, you’ll have a final HR interview, where we’ll review and discuss your AssessFirst results together.
