Job summary

Criteo is seeking a Software Development Engineer to help build and evolve the identity infrastructure powering user understanding across devices and environments. You will design, develop, and operate scalable backend services, contributing to the Identity Graph and cross-environment matching.

You will collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and ML engineers in an Agile environment, ensuring high-quality code and privacy-conscious identity solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience developing and extending large and complex systems.
• Master in Computer Science or Engineering or related field is required.
• Fluent in English and able to work in an English-speaking environment.
• Experience in Agile environments and delivering high-quality code.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable backend services processing billions of identity signals.
• Contribute to the Identity Graph connecting cookies, identifiers, and signals.
• Develop services to create, store, enrich, synchronize, validate, and serve identity data.
• Improve cross-device and cross-environment matching for wider audience reach.
• Work on large-scale data processing, distributed systems, and low-latency APIs.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, ML engineers, and other teams.
• Contribute to privacy-conscious identity solutions in a changing advertising landscape.
• Own services end-to-end from design through deployment and monitoring.
