Sorare, based in Paris, is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to craft high-traffic web experiences for our licensed digital sports cards. You will ship features using React and TypeScript, work with product, design and backend to drive metrics and roadmap, and optimize for performance across mobile and desktop.

Sorare is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join the team. We craft officially licensed digital sport cards that connect hundreds of thousands of fans to their favorite athletes every week, and we're growing the team to reach the millions to come.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll architect and develop delightful experiences for our fans, fueling their passion where fantasy meets live sport.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship web features used weekly by hundreds of thousands of sport fans worldwide

• Drive projects from inception to launch

• Work with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to execute on our roadmap, owning metrics and outcomes

• Use AI as a productivity multiplier (60% of our PRs with AI-assisted workflows)

• Care deeply about performance, mobile experience, and maintainability

• Help shape our web strategy, mobile included

Skills and requirements

• You have 5+ years of frontend engineering experience with a clear track record of shipping high-traffic consumer web products

• Hands-on experience with React and TypeScript

• Production experience working with GraphQL

• A real feel for web performance: load times, smoothness on mobile, degraded networks

• You have fluent spoken and written communication skills in English and French

• Comfort with speed: you ship fast, measure success, iterate

• Bias for simplicity: you solve complex problems with simple solutions

• Attention to detail: you strive for high quality from top to bottom, without confusing craftsmanship with perfectionism

• Autonomous, pragmatic, and entrepreneurial: you take ownership of outcomes, make decisions with imperfect information, and drive projects forward without hand-holding

• You are a team player who collaborates with empathy and respect
