Senior Software Engineer – Clinical AI Devices (Hybrid)

Job summary

DeepHealth is seeking a Software Engineer for its Clinical AI Devices team. You will build and maintain software that wraps deep learning models into containerized medical devices, interfacing with radiology workflows across X-Ray, CT, MRI and Mammography, focusing on the interface between product logic and the serving platform.

Hybrid, remote-friendly, based in France (Paris or Grenoble) or the Netherlands (Rotterdam or Amsterdam).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s in CS, biomedical engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years in a similar role.
• At least 5 years with Java and Spring Boot.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience with CI/CD practices, testing (JUnit).
• Experience with Docker, cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Agentic Coding tools like Claude and Cursor (preferred).
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems (preferred).
• Experience in the MedTech field, e.g. working with DICOM data, AI algorithms, and clinical workflows (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design, refine, and develop new features for Clinical AI devices.
• Write and review code; contribute to tests and automation.
• Own features end-to-end from refinement to production.
• Ensure compliance with Quality, Regulatory, cybersecurity and risk analysis.
• Collaborate with team on strategic tech and business improvements.
