DeepHealth is seeking a Technical Services Engineer to deploy and support AI medical imaging software across Europe. The role involves gathering customer requirements, managing installations, and providing ongoing support to ensure optimal use of DeepHealth's clinical AI solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of systems engineering, proficiency in at least one scripting language, and experience with Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms. This is a hybrid role offering a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in systems engineering or a similar technical role.
  • Experience with public/private cloud platforms, especially GCP.
  • Knowledge of DICOM standards and medical imaging workflows is preferred.

Job Summary

The Technical Services Engineer, Europe is responsible for the deployment, integration, and technical support of DeepHealth's AI medical imaging software at customer sites across the European region. Working within the Delivery and Implementation team, this role gathers customer requirements, manages end‑to‑end software installations, and provides expert technical support to ensure a seamless customer experience. The Technical Services Engineer collaborates closely with development teams, contributes to the continuous improvement of deployment processes and workflows, and plays a key role in enabling customers to get the most from DeepHealth's clinical AI solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare, perform, and maintain customer installations of DeepHealth's AI medical imaging software, ensuring seamless integration with existing IT infrastructure.
  • Gather customer requirements and installation environment details to enable smooth and efficient deployments.
  • Provide expert technical support to customers and partners, troubleshooting and resolving incidents in a timely and professional manner.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Delivery and Implementation team's workflows, streamlining processes and enhancing the customer experience.
  • Be adaptable and available to support customers outside of regular working hours; participation in an on‑call rotation may be required.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration of applications.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices to support knowledge sharing and operational consistency.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to platform engineering and medical imaging.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (required).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in systems engineering or a similar technical role (required); 5+ years of experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Solid knowledge of Linux, networking, and security.
  • Experience with public/private cloud platforms (GCP preferred), Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
  • Linux shell scripting and Linux toolchain installation, upgrade, and maintenance.
  • Experience troubleshooting Docker containers.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling including Terraform, Ansible, and ArgoCD.
  • Knowledge of monitoring platforms and observability tool stacks (GCP/AWS/Azure).
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills; able to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Experience with DICOM standards, networking protocols, and medical imaging workflows strongly preferred, including PACS, RIS, modality integrations, and connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Fluent in English and German.

Physical Demands

This position often requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching with hands and arms, using hands and fingers, handling, or feeling, speaking, listening, and high‑level cognitive thinking. Also, must be able to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.

Salary

€55,000 - €70,000 (Netherlands)

€45,000 - €60,000 (Italy)
