Job summary

Jobgether seeks a Senior Software Engineer to evaluate AI coding agents (OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, Cursor) for quality of interactions, explanations, and developer guidance. This fully remote, project-based engagement is based in France and targets senior engineers with deep AI-assisted development experience.

Applicants should demonstrate strong judgment, experience with TypeScript/JavaScript/Python, and the ability to communicate nuanced assessments clearly in English.

Qualifications

• Senior, Staff, or Principal-level software engineer with strong technical judgment.
• Experience evaluating AI-assisted development workflows.
• Excellent written and spoken English (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated coding interactions from start to finish, including responses, explanations, and recommendations.
• Assess usefulness, correctness, and alignment with strong software engineering practices.
• Review explanations and reasoning quality, not just code syntax.
• Differentiate between quality levels using consistent criteria.
• Provide clear, detailed, constructive written feedback on what worked and what didn’t.
• Evaluate whether AI agents guide developers effectively and build trust.
• Help define quality standards for interactions with AI coding tools like Codex, Claude Code, and Cursor.
• Record short video explanations to communicate findings.
