Murex is seeking a SOC Analyst in Paris to join the Information Security team. You’ll monitor, detect, and respond to security events, perform triage, and coordinate with IT to contain incidents.

You will conduct advanced threat hunting, support vulnerability management, and help enhance SOC capabilities across security operations. Strong analytical skills and 5+ years in cybersecurity are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 0
• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with monitoring, incident detection and response, threat and vulnerability analysis, and automation/orchestration.
• Experience with log analysis across diverse environments and AI-powered security tools (SIEM, XDR, NDR, UEBA).
• Knowledge of digital forensics, malware analysis, threat intelligence frameworks, and SOAR/scripting.

Responsabilités

• Perform initial triage and in-depth investigation of security alerts and potential incidents.
• Validate and escalate confirmed incidents according to defined procedures.
• Collaborate with IT teams to support containment and remediation of incidents.
• Support and contribute to the vulnerability management lifecycle.
• Conduct advanced threat hunting to identify emerging threats and attack patterns.
• Analyze logs from firewalls, IDS/IPS, Windows systems, network devices and endpoints.
• Develop and maintain SOC runbooks and procedures.
• Contribute to security initiatives like Threat Intelligence and Shadow IT.
