Algolia is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (IC4) to strengthen the Platform as a Service team. You will bridge junior and senior staff, ensuring reliability and scalability while modernizing Kubernetes-based infrastructure and CI/CD practices.

You will mentor mid-level engineers, collaborate across product and software teams, and help raise observability standards. Strong Golang/Python, CC/CD tooling, and cloud experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Golang and Python with a software craftsmanship mindset.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or CircleCI.
• Strong observability design and troubleshooting in production.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Distributed systems experience focused on reliability and performance.
• Mentorship and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills for complex topics.

• CI/CD Development and Maintenance: design, optimize, and maintain pipelines to accelerate the development lifecycle.
• Observability Enhancement: improve monitoring and alerting for critical systems.
• Kubernetes and Cloud Management: operate Kubernetes-based architecture and cloud solutions.
• System Optimization and Scaling: drive scalability and cost-efficient resource use.
