Valtech in Paris is searching for a Senior SFCC Multicloud Backend Engineer to design, develop, and support large-scale e-commerce solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud. This permanent position emphasizes collaboration with technical stakeholders and includes hybrid work options.

Senior SFCC Multicloud Backend Engineer (all genders)

We are seeking an experienced engineer to design, develop and support large‑scale e‑commerce solutions on Salesforce Commerce Cloud. This role requires a deep technical skill set, leadership experience, and a passion for collaborative problem solving.

Role Responsibilities

• Partner with key Technical Stakeholders to identify and document requirements for deploying new global and regional systems.
• Manage technical stakeholder approval for all technical designs and optimizations.
• Develop and support the creation of technical documents such as solution documents, technical and architectural requirements, and performance documents.
• Coordinate and work with the technical team on design, delivery and support of solutions.
• Organize, equip and facilitate application technical test plans and technical test cases, including performance tests and load tests.
• Provide ongoing application system maintenance and problem resolution with internal and external supporting teams.

Must Have Qualifications

• University degree in IT, Business Information Systems or equivalent.
• +8 years of experience in IT, with at least +5 years in e‑commerce architecture (luxury preferred).
• Experience implementing e‑commerce solutions in an international context.
• Experience on multi‑cultural projects.
• Demonstrated technical lead and time‑management abilities.
• In‑depth working knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud & OMS, Core, and Marketing Cloud.
• Strong technical sense and technical operational experience.
• Ability to liaise between business and technical communities, bridging gaps and driving collaborative solutions.
• Excellent organization, planning, communication, project‑management and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and oral.
