Infosys seeks a senior SEEBURGER BIS consultant to lead end-to-end interface projects, map development, and BIS administration across cloud platforms.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage incidents and changes, and ensure high-quality data transformations between trading partners while supporting 24x7 production systems.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of IT experience with 8 years in B2B/EDI tools.
• Minimum 6 years as SEEBURGER BIS 6.7 consultant.
• Strong expertise in SEEBURGER BIS interface design, configuration and mapping.
• Experience with ANSI X12 EDI sets (850, 855, 997, 810, 820, 832, 856, 940, 945).
• Experience in AWS/GCP-based BIS administration and patching.

Responsabilités

Your Role

Required Qualifications

• At least 10 years of relevant Information Technology experience and 8 years of B2B and EDI tools
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in SEEBURGER BIS 6.7 consultant.

Strong expertise with:

• SEEBURGER BIS interface and Mapping development and Administrator
• Strong knowledge of ANSI X12 EDI transaction sets, including 850 (Purchase Order), 855 (Purchase Order Acknowledgment), 997 (Functional Acknowledgment), 810 (Invoice), 820 (Payment Order/Remittance Advice), 832 (Price/Sales Catalog), 856 (Advance Ship Notice), 940 (Warehouse Shipping Order), and 945 (Warehouse Shipping Advice), with experience in customer-specific guideline analysis, mapping, testing, and production support.
• Possesses comprehensive expertise in end-to-end SEEBURGER BIS interface design, configuration, and mapping development for both EDI and non-EDI integrations, enabling seamless data transformation between external partners and backend applications using standard B2B solutions. Demonstrates strong knowledge of Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions, including the development of interfaces between customer systems and backend applications through predefined functions and file transfer activities. Additionally, experienced in SEEBURGER BIS administration activities, including AWS-based Linux server patching, system maintenance, and the restart and management of BIS components such as Adapter Engine, Processing Engine, and Mapping Engine instances.
• Proficient in SEEBURGER configuration of various communication adapters, including AS2, SFTP, OFTP, JMS, Email, and File adapters. Experienced in implementing secure B2B connectivity through the management of SSL/TLS certificates, AS2 certificates, and PGP keys, ensuring secure data transmission, authentication, and encryption/decryption of business documents across trading partner networks.

Hands-on experience supporting and administering SEEBURGER BIS environments hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including monitoring, maintenance, and operational support.

• Proven experience leading and managing teams of 15+ members, effectively delegating responsibilities, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
• Successfully managed critical production incidents, coordinating resolution activities to minimize business impact and restore services within agreed SLAs.
• Strong knowledge of SEEBURGER BIS and related platform components like adapters, rules Variables, schedulers, counters and mapping management and objects transportation form lower environment to higher environment with expertise in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Experienced in providing timely and accurate incident communications and status updates to senior management, stakeholders, and business teams.
• Committed to achieving SLA targets by collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure prompt issue resolution and continuous service improvement.
• Good understanding of SEEBURGER BIS performance monitoring and tuning, utilizing dashboards and system metrics to identify bottlenecks and optimize integration performance.
• Experienced in working closely with Database, Infrastructure, and Cloud Operations teams on system patching, upgrades, capacity planning, and performance optimization initiatives.
• Strong understanding of enterprise security concepts, including certificate management, security protocols, firewall configurations, network infrastructure, and load balancing technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Incident Management, Problem Management, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Change Management processes, leveraging JIRA for Agile sprint planning, user story tracking, and issue management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Performed end-to-end map and interface development, including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and production deployment in compliance with Change Advisory Board (CAB) procedures
• Deployed and managed Datadog monitoring solutions, including agent installation, infrastructure monitoring, and centralized log management.
• Created operational dashboards for critical business interfaces and configured automated alerts for file transfer delays and process failures.
• Established alerts for connectivity issues, application failures, and SSL/certificate expirations to ensure high availability and proactive incident management.
• Led the migration of legacy interfaces to SEEBURGER Standard B2B Solutions, designing and developing parent-child maps for complex data transformations between customer formats and backend application structures.
• Proficient in using SEEBURGER Message Tracker to monitor and track EDI transactions, including orders and invoices, utilizing advanced search criteria and condition-based filters for efficient issue investigation and resolution

Preferred Qualifications

• Experienced in solution architecture, and enterprise integration platforms across Linux and Windows environments.
• Skilled in Shell and Perl scripting for automation, monitoring, alert management, and operational efficiency.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Extensive experience in software product support, incident management, and technical issue resolution.
• Adept at managing client relationships and engaging with senior technical leadership and business stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of programming languages including Python, C, C++, and Java.
• Certified SEEBURGER Consultant with cloud technology certifications in AWS, Azure, and GCP.
