Blockchain in Paris is seeking a hands-on Security Engineer embedded with the Institutional Trading and FinOps teams to secure off-chain trading processes and infrastructure powering our institutional operations.

You will map systems, perform risk assessments, and drive posture uplifts across signing flows, key custody interfaces, and settlement pipelines. This role emphasizes operational security and resilience against external threats and internal errors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security engineering or related field.
• Ability to perform structured reviews of complex data flows and processes.
• Experience with observability and detection tooling (SIEM, logs, metrics) and basic detection rules.
• Practical experience with secrets management platforms and IAM least-privilege patterns.
• Ability to translate technical debt into business risk for executives.

Responsabilités

• Map inventory trading systems, data flows, third-party integrations and custody touchpoints.
• Define Target State and strategic Risk Treatment Plans for institutional standards (CCSS, NIST, DORA).
• Act as security liaison for senior management and vendors; translate gaps into risk summaries.
• Integrate FinOps security signals into SIEM/SOAR for real-time response.
• Maintain secrets and key-management hygiene (KMS/Vault) with least privilege and rotation.
• Assist in triage of SAST/SCA findings for FinOps repositories and drive remediation playbooks.
• Participate in incident exercises and post-incident reviews for trading incidents.
• Document controls and produce risk summaries for FinOps leads and Security teams.
• AI-Driven Innovation: explore embedding AI tools safely into secure infra.
