Datadog seeks a Senior Security Engineer within Application Security to secure emerging architectures, including agentic apps and LLM-enabled products. You will define security models and controls, work with product and platform teams, and drive threat modeling and secure-by-default practices.

You will partner across security, engineering, and infrastructure teams to address evolving threats, strengthen trust boundaries, and shape runtime behavior with practical implementations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering or development in a collaborative environment.
• Experience in security and/or infrastructure/platform engineering with distributed systems.
• Experience designing or implementing security controls within application infrastructure.

Responsabilités

• Define security models, requirements, and guardrails for emerging architectures.
• Design, implement, and validate practical security controls to reduce risk.
• Shape authentication, authorization, isolation, and data access with least-privilege principles.
• Partner with product, platform, and engineering teams to embed secure-by-default requirements.
• Lead threat modeling and security assessments for new and existing products.
• Prioritize remediation of emerging risks and refine approaches as architectures evolve.
