Metyis is seeking a SAP BW/ABAP Lead with 8+ years of relevant experience for a full-time role in Porto's Digital Campus. The candidate will lead migration and modernization of SAP data flows, including BW, HANA, and ABAP, and collaborate with SAP Architects, Data Engineers, and BI teams to deliver cloud-ready solutions.

The role emphasizes data governance, metadata management, and robust documentation to support scalable analytics across the organization.

Qualifications

8+ years of hands-on experience with SAP BW, BW on HANA, ABAP, or data migration projects.
Proven ability to analyze, migrate, and modernize SAP data flows end-to-end.
Strong SQL and data validation skills with a track record of data integrity.
Experience with cloud data architectures (Lakehouse, Data Lake) and governance.
Leadership and stakeholder management skills across global teams.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master's preferred.

Responsabilités

Lead the analysis, migration, and modernization of SAP BW, SAP HANA, and ABAP data flows.
Design scalable data processing solutions while preserving business logic and auditability.
Define migration strategies, source-to-target mappings, and validation approaches.
Collaborate with SAP Architects, Data Engineers, BI Developers, and business stakeholders.
Document SAP metadata, object dependencies, and technical specifications for AI-assisted migration.
Drive best practices in data governance and metadata management during migration.
