A global leading consulting firm in the space sector is seeking a Remote Sensing Payload/Satellite/System Resident Expert in Toulouse. This freelance role requires at least 15 years of experience in Remote Sensing engineering, with a focus on AIT and Cal/Val campaigns. Candidates must hold a master’s degree in a relevant field and exhibit excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. The position will involve monitoring satellite development and ensuring compliance with specifications during design and testing phases.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Remote Sensing (SAR or EO) payload/satellite/system engineering.
• Experience with AIT and Cal/Val campaigns required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Monitor Remote Sensing payload/satellite/system design and development.
• Provide technical oversight and identify potential issues early.
• Prepare for critical design and testing review meetings.
• Collaborate with the Program Management Office and stakeholders.
• Deliver timely progress reports on development activities.
