Datadog seeks distributed systems engineers to design, implement, and run production-grade platforms handling billions of events globally. You will build fault-tolerant, scalable services in Go, Java, Rust, or C++ and work with open-source tools like Kafka, Redis, Cassandra, and Elasticsearch.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in a scientific field or equivalent experience.
• Significant backend programming experience in Go, Java, Rust, or C++.
• Experience with durable, low-latency, high-availability systems.
• Ability to work at low-level when needed and design simple, performant solutions.

Responsabilités

• Build fault-tolerant, horizontally scalable backend solutions.
• Develop in Go, Java, Rust, or C++ within multi-tenant environments.
• Leverage Kafka, Redis, Cassandra, Elasticsearch in production pipelines.
• Own meaningful components and grow with Datadog.
