Aqora, based in Paris, seeks a Quantum Expert to bring reference implementations of key quantum algorithms to the platform, spanning the stack and multiple hardware and software providers. Implement reproducible workflows across Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane, and TKET.

You will work closely with the engineering team to shape features, engage with users, and help build Aqora's quantum team as the company grows. Based in Paris or willing to relocate, this role offers hybrid on-site collaboration.

Formación

• PhD in quantum computing, quantum information, or related physics with publication record, or 3+ years post-PhD/masters equivalent.
• Deep expertise in gate-based quantum computing and quantum algorithms.
• Proficiency in at least two major quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane, TKET).
• Strong Python skills with end-to-end implementations.
• Hands-on experience across circuit design, compilation, error mitigation, simulation, and hardware execution.

Responsabilidades

• Implement published research as reproducible workspaces, reference implementations, and tutorials across Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane, and TKET.
• Bring your own research line and publish/share it on Aqora.
• Engage with users to understand workflows and reduce friction in quantum algorithm development.
• Define features with product and engineering for the hub and supporting tools.
• Integrate providers across interfaces from SDKs to circuit/pulse level; contribute to orchestration design.
• Benchmark workloads on emulators/QPUs and publish results.
• Review community contributions and guide content improvements.
• Represent Aqora at conferences and build relationships with research groups.
