Hexagon is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to shape quality across CAD/CAM software. This hands-on role involves reading code with developers, contributing to automated testing, and improving build pipelines.

You will ensure quality from planning to delivery, covering usability and product quality in an agile Scrum setting. Ideal candidates have several years in software QA, experience with test automation, and familiarity with C/C++, C#, React or Qt.

Qualifications

• Several years of practical experience in software quality assurance, ideally in commercial or engineering software.
• Experience reading and discussing source code with developers.

Responsabilités

• Lead QA activities for software teams developing CAD/CAM and toolpath software components.
• Design, implement and maintain test strategies, plans and cases, combining manual and automated testing where appropriate.
• Build and improve test automation and quality checks across the software development lifecycle.
• Work with developers to understand software architecture, read code and identify risks early in development.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and automate quality checks.
• Challenge requirements and approaches to improve product quality and value.
• Collaborate with development and product teams in an agile Scrum environment and mentor other QA engineers.
