Kraken Technologies France seeks an experienced software engineer to contribute to its AI-driven energy platform. You will develop robust Python and Django services, design domain models for the French energy market, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver scalable server-side, client-side, and mobile components.

The role emphasizes async processing with Celery, REST APIs, and deep data handling, within a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Python experience.
• Django or equivalent web framework.
• Fluent French; English at least B2.
• Domain modelling.
• HTTP and REST APIs.
• Celery and async processing.
• PostgreSQL knowledge.
• Nice-to-have: AWS, Terraform, Packer, Consul.
• React and Redux experience.

Responsabilités

• Develop robust Python/Django apps with async Celery processing.
• Model and implement domain models for the French energy market.
• Build server, client, and mobile components with UX collaboration.
• Contribute to immutable infrastructure and CD pipeline using AWS, Terraform.
• Address design challenges in a regulated market.
• Work with meter data and large-scale datasets.
• Collaborate in a Kanban-based software team.
