Job summary

SGL Carbon SE is seeking a Field Sales Manager for process pumps in France, Belgium and Southern Europe, with potential expansion to the Middle East and Africa. You will drive commercial development for a portfolio of over 200 customers and cultivate strong relationships with agents and partners.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in technical pump sales or pump engineering, excellent communication, and a strong commercial acumen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, technical or business-oriented.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical pump sales or pump engineering in an international industrial context.

Responsibilities

• Develop the pump business in your territory (France, Belgium, Southern Europe).
• Regular field presence to secure and increase market share.
• Build partnerships and commercial cooperations; support agents in identifying and promoting Process Technology solutions.
• Optimize offers according to technical and economic logic; verify proposals’ consistency.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, After-Sales Service, Finance and other sales regions.
• Contribute to marketing activities (trade shows, brochures, conferences).
• Represent territory needs in regional and global discussions; participate in process improvement.
