Job summary

2MNEXT in Nashville, Tennessee seeks an experienced Senior Project Controls Specialist to support a major transportation infrastructure program. The role covers cost estimating, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, risk and change management, reporting, document controls, and PMCS.

You will work with program leadership, clients, contractors and project teams to monitor performance, identify risks, develop recommendations, and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant project controls experience on complex engineering/construction programs.
• Experience with cost estimating, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and project reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support project controls across planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout.
• Develop and monitor budgets, schedules, forecasts, and controls documentation.
• Assist in developing plans, procedures, and project controls processes.
• Monitor performance against budgets/schedules and identify variances and risks.
• Coordinate with managers, contractors, and clients to validate controls information.
• Provide analysis and recommendations to leadership on project controls matters.
• Prepare cost estimates for design, bids, and change orders; develop ICE as needed.
• Develop cost forecasts and analyze actual costs; track trends and impacts.
• Maintain historical cost data and support benchmarking for planning.
• Assist with pricing reviews, vendor quotes, and change orders.
