EQIOM, a CRH Company, is seeking a seasoned leader to head an R&D and innovation program from ideation through industrial launch. Based in Lille, you will align with strategic priorities and coordinate cross‑functional teams across R&D, engineering, production, finance, marketing, and procurement to deliver low‑carbon cementitious solutions.
You hold a Master’s degree in materials science or chemical/process engineering (MBA or advanced degree preferred), about 10 years in innovation roles with
Reporting to the Innovation Program Director, you lead an R&D and innovation program, from ideation and feasibility studies through industrial launch and commercialization.
Within the iCSC innovation center based in Lille, dedicated to low-carbon cementitious materials, you ensure alignment with strategic innovation priorities.
You are responsible for all projects within the program, ensuring execution across all phases, coordinating cross-functional teams and building robust techno-economic models.
You bring a strong track record in implementing and launching innovations in the building materials market, with expertise in program management, technical feasibility, economic analysis and market testing.
You have a Master’s degree in Materials Science, chemical and process engineering, or equivalent / MBA or advanced degree preferred.
You have around 10 years’ proven experience, including 5 years in program and innovation management. You have strong expertise in construction materials and/or low-carbon technologies and have worked in international environments.
You are proficient in technical and economic analysis and cross-functional management, and you are recognised for your leadership and ability to influence others.
Your keen understanding of budgets and finance enables you to carry out cost-benefit analyses and assess return on investment.
You are fluent in French and in English (C1 minimum).
Presence required 2 to 3 days per week onsite at the LAB in Lille, with occasional travel across Europe
