Canonical is seeking a product leader to drive the lifecycle of Ubuntu Core and Smart NIC/ToR switch initiatives. You will work with engineering, design, marketing and sales to shape a compelling roadmap and bring cutting-edge networking solutions to market.

You will lead cross-functional teams, partner with customers and ecosystem players, and craft go-to-market plans that align with Canonical’s open-source vision.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Linux and the wider open source software community.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Experience in software product management.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 4 times per year.
• Deep understanding of hyperscale and enterprise data centre architecture and challenges.
• Knowledge of network protocols at hardware/kernel level.

Responsabilités

• Lead product development lifecycle for Ubuntu Core and Smart NIC/ToR switches.
• Shape product roadmap and feature support in collaboration with engineering and sales.
• Engage with ecosystem partners and customers to drive adoption and feedback.
• Develop go-to-market strategies and support successful market launches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product vision into plans and documentation.
• Guide product succession and ensure alignment with business goals.
