Job summary

Lucentive is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to build the screens and workflows that users touch on top of the AI system. You’ll ship end-to-end features across the shared codebase and client projects, using a typed stack (Next.js/Convex/TypeScript).

You’ll own data models, business logic, and UI, and collaborate with other engineers to maintain contracts and ensure fast, legible products. The role is remote within the EU, with CET overlap and a Portugal hub.

Qualifications

• Senior experience shipping product end to end in production: schema, backend, and frontend.
• Next.js and Convex, or an equivalent typed end-to-end stack in TypeScript.
• Comfort owning ambiguity: craft working features from rough workflows without a full spec.
• Reading and building on someone else’s schema and runtime contracts without breaking them.
• Ability to move between engagement-specific repos and a shared core codebase.

Responsibilities

• Own features end to end.
• Own data model in Convex, business logic, shipped UI.
• Build product surfaces on top of the agent runtime and audit trail: review queues, dashboards, etc.
• Maintain the typed contract between the Convex backend and the Next.js frontend.
• Ship across engagement-specific and shared codebases and generalize features beyond the first client.
• Turn contracts into screens and collaborate with the AI Systems Engineer and Context Architect.
