ORMA Swiss SA in Besançon, France, seeks a senior mechanical design engineer to create new technical products and to develop 3D models with manufacturing drawings. You will manage metal, wood, and Solid Surface constraints, and design parts for CNC, bending, welding, and additive processes.

Collaborate with the technical office and manufacturing teams, benefit from remote work across Europe or Morocco, with occasional travel to the French site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in mechanical design or product development.
• Excellent command of SolidWorks.
• Experience in furniture, fit-out, industrial design or mechanics is a plus.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Sensitivity to design and ergonomics.
• Creative, pragmatic and manufacturing-oriented mindset.
• Autonomy and ability to work remotely.
• Preferred software: SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, Solid Edge, CATIA, Siemens NX, Rhino 3D, TopSolid, Creo Parametric, SketchUp Pro, KeyShot and Blender.

Responsabilités

• Design new technical and design products.
• Produce 3D models and manufacturing drawings.
• Integrate manufacturing constraints for metal, wood and Solid Surface.
• Design parts for CNC machining, bending, welding, 3D printing or plastic injection.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing products.
• Work with our technical office and manufacturing teams.
