Water Horizon à Toulouse recherche un Ingénieur Process Senior - Lead BE pour structurer le Bureau d'Ingénierie et soutenir les développements technologiques du projet Water Horizon.

Le poste exige au moins 12 ans d'expérience, maîtrise des procédés, thermodynamique et modélisation; vous conduirez les études pré-projet, le design conceptuel et l'amélioration des pratiques d'ingénierie.

Qualifications

• Diplôme d'ingénieur en génie des procédés ou équivalent.
• Minimum 12 ans d'expérience, dont une expérience en gestion de projet dans un bureau d'études.

Responsabilités

• Structurer, organiser et définir les procédés, méthodes et ressources pour le Design Office.
• Réaliser des études pré-projet et comprendre les procédés industriels du client.
• Tracer les exigences du procédé vers des concepts techniques et des livrables.
• Piloter l'analyse, la modélisation et l'optimisation des technologies Water Horizon.
• Représenter l'entreprise auprès des partenaires et forums externes.

As part of its development, Water Horizon is strengthening and structuring its Engineering department and is recruiting a Senior Process Engineer. – Lead BE

Within the Engineering team, you will play a key role in supporting the technical and technological developments of the Water Horizon project by structuring the department in an Engineering Office mode.

Your challenges:

• Mastery and sustainability of Water Horizon know-howEnsure the acquisition, consolidation, and internal transmission of advanced Water Horizon process expertise, covering the sizing, operation, and optimization of facilities.
• Leadership techniques and excellent deliverablesEnsure a central technical expert role on complex process engineering topics, with a high level of demand for the quality, reliability, and compliance of deliverables.
• Customer integration and value creationMaster the integration of the Water Horizon process into client industrial systems, considering interactions with waste heat producers and cold consumers.
• External outreach and partnershipsRepresent the company to strategic partners and in external forums (conferences, working groups, innovation ecosystems) to enhance the visibility and technological credibility of the offering.

Your missions:

• Structuring
  • You will support the Head of the Engineering Division in structuring, organizing, and defining the processes, methods, and resources for the future Design Office.
• Preliminary design studies
  • To manage pre-project studies by developing a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of clients' industrial processes (technical challenges, constraints, performance).
  • Translate process requirements into structured technical concepts and requirements, serving as the basis for project decisions.
  • Structure and evolve methods (processes, tools, repositories) to secure and make studies reliable.
  • Contribute to the standardization of approaches and deliverables to improve project quality, performance, and reproducibility.
  • To be a key player in the continuous improvement of engineering practices and the technical interface with clients.
• Technological development
  • Pilot the analysis, modeling, and optimization of Water Horizon technology.
  • Propose plans for improvement to define and implement progress plans for expanding the range, optimizing performance, and operating conditions of units based on lessons learned.
  • Actively participate in technological watch and the dissemination of best practices (Knowledge Management) in process design.
• Internal Team Support
  • Participating in defining unit operating protocols, participating in technical diagnostics, and capitalizing on lessons learned from different sites.

Your profile:

Required degrees

Engineering degree in one of the following fields: Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering

Experience

Required experience of 12 years minimum, including

• Successful professional experience as a project manager in the organization of a design office.

• A natural aptitude based on experience in organizing and leading change within the context of structuring and developing Engineering Departments.

Prior experience in the energy sector would be a plus.

Recognized expertise in process design, sizing, and optimization.

Solid foundation in thermodynamics and heat/mass transfer.

Proficiency in industrial process simulation and modeling tools

Compensation:

Between 60 and 75k+ € gross depending on experience, variable included
