Key Responsibilities
- Utilize Pro Tools extensively for advanced audio editing, noise reduction, equalization, and dynamic processing on raw voice recordings.
- Perform meticulous audio cleanup, removing unwanted artifacts such as clicks, pops, hums, and background noise to achieve pristine quality.
- Standardize audio levels (LUFS, RMS) and ensure consistent spectral balance across large datasets for optimal AI training.
- Implement specific audio processing chains and effects as required by AI model specifications (e.g., de-essing, compression, gating).
- Evaluate and provide expert feedback on the overall sonic characteristics of AI-generated audio, identifying areas for improvement.
- Manage and organize large audio projects within Pro Tools, ensuring proper file management, session organization, and version control.
Ideal Qualifications
- Expert-level proficiency in Pro Tools is mandatory, with a proven track record in audio post-production, mixing, or mastering.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as an audio engineer or sound designer.
- Deep understanding of acoustic principles, psychoacoustics, and digital audio workstations (DAWs).
- Strong knowledge of audio signal processing techniques, plugins, and industry-standard codecs.
- Experience with batch processing and automation workflows for large audio libraries.
- Exceptional ear for detail, critical listening skills, and ability to identify subtle audio imperfections.
