AtkinsRéalis seeks a Senior Process Mechanical Engineer to design and lead projects for power facilities, specializing in combined cycle systems. You will size equipment, model systems, and develop P&IDs while guiding a mechanical team to deliver accurate, compliant designs.

Close collaboration with clients and vendors is essential to ensure quality and safety. The role requires PE licensure, 10+ years in energy or industrial facilities, and experience with design tools such as AFT Fathom, GT

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience, preferably in power or industrial facilities.
• Experience with P&IDs, equipment specifications, and mechanical design deliverables.
• Experience with design tools such as AFT Fathom, AFT Arrow, GT Pro, Steam Pro, and Thermoflex.

Responsabilités

• Perform mechanical design for combined cycle and simple cycle power systems, including sizing and P&IDs.
• Lead mechanical engineering team to deliver high-quality power project designs.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams, clients, and partners to ensure technical success.
• Prepare calculations, schematics, technical documentation, and design deliverables with clear references.
• Develop equipment specifications for pumps, heat exchangers, vessels, compressors, boilers, cooling systems, and BOP.
• Support proposal development, cost estimation, and project execution planning.
