Valeo’s Power Division HQ in Cergy seeks an Expert Power Conversion Engineer M/F to lead advanced power electronics projects for data centers and battery energy storage systems. You will define standards, drive innovation, and mentor engineers across global teams.

The role balances technology, quality, and cost while collaborating with customers and internal teams to deliver reliable, efficient power conversion solutions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Applied Physics.
• 15+ years of R&D or engineering experience in power conversion or complex electrical systems.
• Experience in automotive, data center infrastructure, BESS, energy, or high-tech sectors.
• Strong knowledge of power electronics topologies and energy conversion (AC-DC, DC-DC).
• Familiar with QRQC, technical risk management, IP/patents, and Design-to-Cost.

Responsabilités

• Lead the technical execution of major engineering projects with disruptive architectures.
• Develop and validate design standards for Data Center & BESS Power Conversion.
• Identify innovation opportunities and oversee patent filings.
• Challenge technical decisions to ensure reliability and cost competitiveness.
• Establish budget strategies and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Mentor and develop junior and senior engineers across global teams.
