Capital Fund Management (CFM) is seeking a senior individual contributor to raise the reliability, automation, and cloud-native maturity of our platform. You will own hard problems end-to-end, set engineering standards, and mentor through your work rather than through a reporting line.

You will help move the platform toward automated, observable, self-service infrastructure that engineers can rely on without thinking about it.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional engineering in production environments.
• Deep experience as a platform, infrastructure, or reliability engineer.
• Expertise with AWS cloud-native architecture.
• Strong Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps practice.
• Solid CI/CD experience and tooling.
• Real SRE / observability experience with data-driven improvements.
• Sound distributed systems and containerization fundamentals.
• Fluency in Python for automation and tooling.
• Senior-IC mindset: deep technical focus and mentoring.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and operate cloud-native infrastructure on AWS for data-intensive workloads.
• Own Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps practices: versioned, reproducible infra.
• Strengthen CI/CD pipelines and release automation for fast, safe production
• Modernize the Python ecosystem and define engineering standards.
• Establish observability with SLOs, telemetry, monitoring, and runbooks.
• Reduce operational toil and build self-service capabilities.
• Introduce AI-augmented development workflows in engineering practices.
• Act as technical reference for cloud, reliability, and platform architecture.
