Job summary

Checkout.com is seeking a Senior Analyst – Permanent Controls to join a global 2LoD function. You will design, monitor, and improve control frameworks across the financial perimeter, working closely with 1LoD to ensure robust controls and regulatory alignment.

This role sits in Paris/Mauritius with a global scope and a strong emphasis on data-driven oversight. You will partner with the Head of Permanent Controls within Compliance to execute control plans, report findings, and drive continuous

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Financial Audit, Internal Control, or Financial Reporting within financial services or payments industry.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and ACPR expectations is preferred.
• Proactive, autonomous, and ownership-minded.
• Curious about end-to-end business operations and data flows.
• Fluency in French and English is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and translate risks into 2nd line control plans, standards, and templates.
• Collaborate with 1LoD to assess control matrices and ensure regulatory alignment.
• Execute and test second line controls across global perimeters including financial reporting & reconciliations.
• Present control findings and remediation progress to the Head of Permanent Controls.
• Identify control gaps and drive improvements to the control framework.
• Contribute to tooling, dashboards, and automation for control monitoring.
