Description du poste

What Do We Do?
The shift to electric mobility is happening. Electra is accelerating it.

Transportation is one of Europe’s biggest sources of carbon emissions. Since 2021, Electra exists to make charging so simple that electric vehicles become the obvious choice for everyone.

In 5 years, we've built a team of 300+ talents from 21 nationalities in 10 countries.

We’ve grown into one of Europe’s leading fast-charging operators by deploying fast, reliable infrastructure and user experiences across our own network, and we’re now expanding to thousands more charging points in Europe with our new eMSP.

We’re backed by over €1 billion in funding, we’re looking for passionate, collaborative talents to drive Europe’s energy transition with boldness and simplicity. If that sounds exciting, we’d love to hear from you.

Your Mission

As Electra enables its leaders to deliver across Europe, our model is evolving from geography-based to a matrix model, where People People Business Partners scopes are based on business growth stage.

Join us as Senior People Business Partner to

  • enable scopes reporting into our Chief Business Officer and Chief Finance Officer (HQ Finance, Sales, Marketing, Legal Network Management, Public Affairs, and expansion country leaders which include BeNeLux and France) to make the right decisions day-to-day for their teams to deliver and thrive to make the right decisions day-to-day for their teams to deliver and thrive.

  • bring French expertise to the partnering team (business-wide) and own french instances (eg. CSE), bring international expertise to the partnering team, business-wide

  • support the Associate People Business Partner who enables Team Leads (proximimity managers) across the entire business

  • work closely with People Operations who provide first-line support and own reliable employee processes, and Talent Acquisition who partner with leaders and managers on their recruitment needs

Your Responsibilities
1) Strengthen leadership - 45%

The manager is responsible for making decisions and having conversations with their team.

You use data, business acumen, and trusted relationships to influence and drive engaged, high-performing teams and a clear strategy: 6-month workforce plans, consistent business-first and people-centric pay and mobility decisions, org changes without disruption. This means:

  • Understanding and being a thought partner on their strategies, org design, workforce plans, operating models and growth challenges,

  • Identifying risks, challenging assumptions and making actionable recommendations to help solve the root cause of those challenges,

  • Enabling leaders to translate challenges into opportunities and clear priorities that connect People decisions to growth, performance, capacity and cost.

2) Contribute to, and deploy People Experience projects - 35%
  • Lead key, recurrent global processes across engagement, performance, compensation, promotion and mobilities (submissions, alignement sessions) consistently and effectively

  • Improve those key global processes by leveraging tools (eg. AI), frameworks (eg. an Agile approach, user research and design thinking principles) and skills (eg. feedback)

  • Contribute strategic insights to the wider People team and deploy projects to leaders (eg. salary bands, career map, leadership training & more) so our work is used, useful, and solves root-cause challenges

  • Strengthen and streamline collaboration across People Business Partnering, People Ops, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Office teams

3) Handle complex cases across markets - 20%
  • Upskill and guide leaders through sensitive ER cases (eg. underperformance, exits, restructures) balancing business needs, employee experience, local legal context and consistency (eg. set clear escalation thresholds, build and store decision-ready documentation)

  • Think global, act local: partner with local experts and external legal partners when required, and look beyond immediate cases to identify patterns and prevent them from recurring as we scale

Current Toolstack: Teamtailor (ATS), Notion (wiki), Google suite (sheets), Lucca (HRIS), Slack (team comms), Pigment (financial planning & data), Claude (AI)

What Will Help You Succeed
Competencies

French and English are needed for this role. You’ll likely thrive if you also:

  • pride yourself on your ability to build strong relationships quickly. You’re an excellent communicator and natural influencer - you instil trust with everyone you interact with and take people through journeys of change with relative ease

  • have strong business acumen. You connect People decisions to performance, growth, cost, risk and organizational health

  • thrive getting to the root cause of challenges. You’re known for asking the tough questions, asking ‘why’, and defaulting to data to inform decisions. Your negotiating skills have yet to find their limit

  • combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery without taking accountability away from managers

  • confidently prioritise, manage expectations, and protect boundaries. You create structure without complexity, focus on impact over output, and see ‘firefighting’ as signal that change is needed yesterday

  • are curious, humble, proactive and a keen learner. You translate challenges into opportunities and get energy when you set others up for success regardless of their role.

  • balance employee experience, operational efficiency, and compliance. You have a sound working understanding of French employment law, and can adapt to learn about new countries

Experiences

  • using People and productivity tools (eg. sheets, Lucca, Claude, etc)

Even better if
  • You’re sensei level in most of our tech stack e.g. Lucca, TeamTailor, Notion, sheets, Claude.

  • Have leveraged Agile practices in the People space.

  • You have a specific expertise of excellence - eg. compensation & benefits, learning & development

What Electra Offers You

  • Opportunities to grow across engineering, operations, and strategy

  • A collaborative and mission-driven environment

  • SYNTEC collective agreement (including vacation bonus, additional leave for special occasions, etc.)

  • A quarterly company-wide event with the entire Electra team

  • Sustainable Mobility Package

  • Access to the company benefits platform (CSE) with numerous perks (culture, sports, etc.)

  • Access to a platform dedicated to mental health, supporting your well-being at work and beyond, including up to 4 sessions per year with certified practitioners, covered by Electra
