Shotgun! located in Marseille is looking for a Software Engineer to join their Money & Compliance Squad. You will design and manage the payment platform, ensuring stability during high-traffic moments, and handling complex money flows across markets. Your role will include driving compliance and working closely with various stakeholders to maintain regulatory standards.

• Significant experience with payment systems in production.
• Comfortable with complex financial regulations and compliance challenges.
• Experience working with international teams on compliance.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and operate the core payment platform.
• Enhance payment path resilience during traffic spikes.
• Model complex money flows and engage in regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders on compliance implications.

Connaissances

Experience with Stripe or another PSP

Knowledge of asynchronous, event-driven architectures

Designing for spiky traffic patterns

Understanding of complex money flows

Engaging with legal, finance stakeholders

Measuring SLIs and SLOs
