Nokia Technology Standards seeks a patent professional to join its inhouse team. You will draft and prosecute standard‑essential patent applications for 3GPP standards, collaborating with inventors and external attorneys to maximize licensing value.

The role emphasizes SEP development, strong collaboration, and participation in innovative work practices to advance Nokia’s patent portfolio.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication, Computer Science, Physics/Mathematics, or equivalent field.
• Experience with telecom and computer‑implemented patent applications and prosecution thereof.
• Qualified European Patent attorney or passed multiple papers of European Qualifying Examination or US Patent Attorney/Agent.

Responsabilités

• Drafting standard‑related patent applications inhouse and with external patent attorneys.
• Prosecuting globally the patent applications inhouse and with external patent attorneys.
• Evaluating filed patent applications on a regular basis, including reviewing claim charts and evaluating patent validity.
