Zusammenfassung

IOTA Group is seeking a Senior Installation Engineer to oversee offshore and subsea installation activities across major international projects in Paris or Lisbon. You will coordinate I&C engineering, review installability of subsea equipment, and lead interfaces between engineering, project management and offshore operations.

The role requires a Master’s degree, 6–8 years in offshore/subsea installation, SURF expertise, and fluency in English (Portuguese a plus).

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 6–8 years of offshore/subsea installation experience.
• Strong technical expertise in SURF and offshore vessel operations.
• Proven experience in Umbilical Installation, Flexible Lay, and Lifting Operations.
• Experience in offshore installation engineering and construction methodologies.
• Expertise in risk assessments, risk mitigation, and management of change.
• Able to coordinate and lead multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience supporting offshore installation projects from prep to execution.

Aufgaben

• Lead and coordinate Installation & Construction engineering activities across packages, tenders, and studies.
• Act as the key technical interface between engineering teams, project management, clients, and offshore operations.
• Review the installability of subsea equipment, tooling, and products, including third-party solutions.
• Coordinate engineering activities related to Umbilical Installation, Flexible Lay, and Lifting Operations.
• Manage engineering deliverables, technical documentation, schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Conduct constructability reviews, risk assessments, and operational readiness reviews.
• Participate in Design Reviews and HAZID workshops.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate installation risks while managing changes.
• Support offshore operations, including vessel mobilisation and offshore installation campaigns.
• Collaborate with procurement and engineering teams to develop technical specs and evaluate installation equipment.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers, ensuring QA/QC.
• Promote continuous improvement through lessons learned and industry best practices.
