SBM Offshore N.V. is seeking a Crane and Hydraulic Specialist to support the maintenance team, focusing on offshore cranes and hydraulic systems. You will lead technicians, ensure reliability, and enforce adherence to international standards and safety procedures.

The role requires 5+ years in hydraulic cranes maintenance offshore, competency with CMMS AMOS/IFS and ePTW, and a strong planning mindset. English proficiency and offshore medical fitness are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience and/or qualified to N/SVQ/HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or local equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of extensive experience in Hydraulic Cranes Maintenance, offshore preferred.
• Good knowledge of Crane and Lifting International Standards.
• Good knowledge of CMMS systems AMOS / IFS and ePTW.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Experience and knowledge of hydrocarbon processing systems and utilities.
• Good experience of Permit to Work, Mechanical Isolation Standards and Risk Assessment.
• Proficiency in English at a minimum of B1 level according to the CEFR international standard.
• Medically fit according to The Company GEMS Instruction Health Requirements to Work Offshore.

Responsabilités

• Maintain offshore cranes and hydraulic systems to ensure reliability.
• Lead technicians through complex equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure adherence to procedures and regulatory standards across all work facets.
• Mentor mechanical technicians using seniority and experience.
• Apply CMMS AMOS/IFS and ePTW in maintenance activities.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
