Job summary

Technip Energies in Nanterre, France, is seeking an experienced Nuclear Safety Engineer / Lead to join the Nuclear Operations Directorate. You will act as the Nuclear Safety function lead across projects, drive safety analyses, and contribute to ISO 19443 certification efforts.

You will design risk-analysis tools, perform safety studies for new installations and modifications, and mentor a team, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and high quality culture.

Qualifications

• Five-year or higher degree in nuclear engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in nuclear safety and radiation protection with major organisations.
• Proficient in safety standards for nuclear installations and risk analyses.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Nuclear Safety function across the Nuclear Operations Directorate and projects.
• Perform safety studies including risk calculations and protective measures.
• Define safety requirements for systems, structures and components.
• Design risk-analysis tools and prepare substantiation notes.
• Contribute to design decisions and participate in multidisciplinary reviews.
