Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited in Paris, hybrid work, is looking for a Network & Security Infrastructure Engineer with 8+ years of experience to deliver enterprise network and security solutions.

You will operate, troubleshoot, and improve routing, switching, firewall, DNS and load balancing, collaborating with global teams and documenting procedures. Strong English communication and vendor experience with Cisco, F5, Check Point or Palo Alto are required.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in network engineering or network security operations.
• Knowledge of routing, switching, firewalling, load balancing and DNS/proxy services.
• Experience with enterprise vendors such as Cisco, F5, Checkpoint, Palo Alto or equivalent.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex production incidents.
• Knowledge of monitoring and operational support practices.
• Understanding of network security principles.
• Good documentation and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support network and security infrastructure components.
• Manage routing, switching, firewall, proxy, DNS and load balancing activities.
• Troubleshoot complex network or connectivity incidents.
• Implement changes, upgrades and technical improvements.
• Support monitoring, performance analysis and capacity activities.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, application and production teams.
• Document network procedures and technical standards.
• Contribute to service stability and continuous improvement.
• Availability for hybrid work in Paris.
