SAP SE in Levallois-Perret, France, seeks an Expert DevOps Engineer to lead governance of large-scale data center networks, drive end-to-end delivery, and serve as the technical authority across cross-functional SAP Product Engineering teams.

You will champion AI-assisted engineering, mentor engineers, engage with third-party providers, and ensure SecNumCloud compliance for the French cloud region. Fluent English and French are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in data center network engineering with deep expertise in EVPN/VXLAN fabric, core routing, network security, Neutron routing, load balancing, and high-security modules.
• Proven experience as a technical authority - owning architectural decisions, defining standards, and driving delivery outcomes independently across complex programs.
• Strong technical project management skills with deep practical experience in agile frameworks and backlog-driven delivery at program scale.
• Experience leading third-party managed service provider engagements - setting expectations, managing performance and ensuring quality outcomes.
• Ability to represent technical positions credibly in cross-organizational and executive-level forums.

Responsabilités

• Leading the technical governance of large-scale data center network infrastructure - owning architectural decisions, defining delivery standards, and ensuring engineering quality across EVPN/VXLAN fabric, core routing, security, and load balancing.
• Driving end-to-end delivery of complex network infrastructure workstreams - from design through operational handover - within an agile delivery model.
• Acting as the primary technical authority for network infrastructure in cross-organizational engagements with SAP Product Engineering and external stakeholders.
• Shaping and continuously improving the operating model for network delivery, including tooling, automation, and AI-assisted engineering practices.
• Ensuring compliance with sovereign cloud and security frameworks, including SecNumCloud requirements for French cloud regions.
