Generare is seeking a Senior Laboratory Technician to join our production team and drive daily workflows from soil-derived microbial samples to the extraction of valuable therapeutic compounds.

You will work on molecular biology tasks, DNA extraction, sequencing, and fermentation, collaborating with team members to ensure experimental quality and documentation. A hands-on, experienced technician will thrive in our growing deeptech environment.

Qualifications

• Education: BTS, DUT or Licence in microbiology, biotechnology, or molecular biology.
• 3–5 years of laboratory experience in biotech or microbiology environments.
• Proficiency with molecular biology techniques and basic fermentation processes.

Responsabilités

• Perform microbial isolation, DNA extraction, PCR, strain transformation, and sequencing (Nanopore).
• Support the construction of cloning libraries, transformation of host strains, and culture in fermentation conditions.
• Carry out organic extractions of microbial cultures to isolate bioactive small molecules.
• Prepare reagents, maintain laboratory equipment, and ensure readiness of material for daily workflows.
• Record protocols and experimental results with a high degree of rigor.
• Work closely with the Production team to plan and execute workflows efficiently.
