NES Fircroft is seeking an Associate Mechanical Director for Paris to lead and expand the mechanical engineering capability for mission-critical data centres. You will oversee design from concept through construction, manage multidisciplinary teams and engage with clients to deliver technically robust solutions.

Reporting to the Engineering Director, you will drive energy-efficient strategies, ensure compliance with French regulations and international standards, and help grow the Paris

Qualifications

• Essential degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 10+ years' experience in consulting engineering.
• Strong knowledge of cooling systems, HVAC design, and critical mechanical infrastructure.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Fluent in French and professional English.

Responsabilités

• Lead mechanical design and delivery of mission-critical and data centre projects from concept through construction.
• Act as Project Director or Lead Mechanical Engineer on major assignments.
• Mentor engineers and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Develop mechanical system strategies including: chilled water, direct and indirect free cooling, HVAC and energy efficiency.
• Coordinate with electrical, public health, architectural and structural disciplines.
• Support business development and expand presence in France.
