Cubiq Recruitment is helping a well-funded European deep-tech startup in Paris recruit an experienced Mechanism Design Engineer to own precision mechanical systems from concept to flight-ready hardware.
The role focuses on designing hinges, latches, gear trains and deployment mechanisms, owning subsystems through prototype and qualification, and performing kinematic and tolerance analyses while partnering with manufacturing, structures, electronics and systems engineers to deliver reliable
Some of the most interesting engineering challenges aren't about making something move. They're about making it move once, flawlessly, after launch.
We're supporting a well-funded European deep-tech startup developing next-generation deployable hardware for the space industry. They're looking for an experienced Mechanism Design Engineer to take ownership of precision mechanical systems from concept through to flight-ready hardware.
This is an individual contributor role where you'll work alongside a highly experienced engineering team in a fast-paced startup environment. You'll have genuine ownership of your designs and see them through the full product development lifecycle.
Although the end application is space, we're keen to hear from engineers with experience designing complex mechanisms in industries such as aerospace, robotics, automotive, motorsport, defence, industrial machinery or other high-performance engineering environments.
Experience designing gear trains, actuators, deployment systems, robotic mechanisms, latching devices or other moving mechanical assemblies would be particularly valuable.
If you're looking for an opportunity to design challenging mechanical systems in an environment where your work will have a direct impact on the success of the product, I\'d be happy to tell you more.
