Job summary

Altea Energy in Paris is seeking a senior Materials, Welding & NDE Engineer to lead all related activities for the Umbilicals, Flowlines & Risers (UFR) package through engineering to handover. You will ensure compliance with international codes, standards and project quality requirements, while providing technical leadership across all materials, welding and NDE tasks.

The role requires a Master’s in engineering and at least 10 years in offshore oil & gas projects, with experience in EPC

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering and execution phases of major offshore Oil & Gas projects.
Experience with Umbilicals, Flowlines & Risers (UFR) systems and NDE methods.

Responsibilities

Lead all Materials, Welding, and NDE engineering activities for the UFR package.
Ensure technical consistency across design, qualification, procurement, fabrication, construction, testing, and commissioning.
Coordinate engineering studies in Materials, Welding, NDE, QA/QC and risk analysis.
Review contractor documentation, queries, and deviations; supervise detailed design activities.
Support qualification of new/non-standard materials and inspection technologies.
