Job summary

Iotagroup in Paris leads a critical UFR package for offshore oil and gas projects, seeking an experienced Materials, Welding, and NDE engineer. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure compliance with international codes, standards, and HSE requirements.

You will review technical proposals, define scopes of work, and supervise detailed engineering deliverables. Fluent English is required; TotalEnergies project experience would be an advantage, and residential work in Paris is

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 10+ years in engineering studies and offshore/oil&gas projects.
• Expertise in materials, welding, and NDE/NDT for offshore equipment.
• Experience with QA/QC, technical deviations, and contractor management.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and interfaces.
• Strong focus on quality, schedule, cost and reliability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; English fluent.
• Experience on TotalEnergies (TTE) projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate materials, welding, and NDE engineering activities for the UFR package.
• Ensure compliance with company specs, codes, standards and best practices.
• Identify and manage studies and qualification programs for engineering and construction.
• Coordinate activities with design reviews, risk assessments and QA/QC.
• Define scopes of work, interfaces, and prepare tender documentation.
• Review contractors' proposals, execution plans, and deviations.
• Supervise engineering deliverables for materials, welding, and NDE.
• Assist Engineering Manager in assessing new technologies and solutions.
• Coordinate specialists and audit equipment, suppliers, and service providers.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for the UFR package.
• Contribute to SOR, FDP, PEP, PQP and risk assessments.
• Ensure HSE, quality and technical integrity requirements in docs.
• Identify deviations and non-compliant solutions affecting integrity.
• Act as focal point for contractors and lead UFR team activities.
• Participate in reviews, assessments, and approvals per company requirements.
• Promote safe practices, confidentiality, and ethics; share lessons learned.
