Port of Portland is seeking a Marine Real Estate Development Manager to lead the planning, entitlement, and development of environmentally complex maritime properties, driving value and sustainability. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; field may be Business, Real Estate or maritime studies.
• Six or more years of progressively responsible work experience in marine infrastructure, port development, and commercial real estate.
• Driver's license required or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Lead planning, entitlement, and redevelopment of Port-owned maritime/industrial properties to maximize value and sustainability.
• Oversee due diligence, environmental review, permitting, regulatory compliance, and site constraints for waterfront projects.
• Structure and negotiate leases, acquisitions, dispositions, development agreements, and asset repositioning; support P3s and capital partnerships.
• Conduct financial feasibility analyses, pro formas, and ROI scenarios to evaluate project viability.
• Develop financing strategies using grants, debt, tax-advantaged tools, and other public/private sources to improve feasibility and sustainability.
• Identify opportunities to enhance portfolio value through redevelopment and strategic partnerships.
