Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Site Director to lead warehouse operations, drive service levels, and ensure inventory accuracy and regulatory compliance across the site.

The role requires extensive experience in warehouse leadership and operational management, with strong emphasis on safety, productivity, and cross-functional coordination. You will report to senior leadership and align with central functions to deliver large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, business administration, industrial engineering, or related field; equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree in related field preferred.
• 7+ years in warehouse operations, distribution, logistics, inventory control, supply chain leadership, and operational management, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a management capacity.
• Certifications: CPIM, CSCP, CLA, PMP, CSSBB, CAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse operations to achieve service, inventory management, compliance, and logistics execution quality objectives.
• Organize operational planning to align warehouse capacity, workflow priorities, and service levels.
• Define and maintain control frameworks for inventory accuracy, safety, loss prevention, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure processes, systems, and KPIs support consistent, efficient, and compliant execution and on-time order delivery.
• Lead operational excellence initiatives to improve productivity and discipline.
• Implement management practices promoting accountability and continuity across teams.
• Ensure capacity for large-scale projects like onboarding new clients or delivering modernization initiatives.
• Lead local leadership in coordination with central functions.
• Maintain positive employee relations with employee representatives.

Job Details

The Site Director’s main responsibilities are:

• Lead warehouse operations to achieve service, inventory management, compliance, and logistics execution quality objectives.
• Organize operational planning to ensure alignment between warehouse capacity, workflow priorities, and expected service levels.
• Define and maintain the control frameworks required to ensure inventory accuracy, operational safety, loss prevention, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure that processes, systems, and performance indicators support consistent, efficient, and compliant execution, as well as on-time order delivery.
• Lead operational excellence initiatives aimed at improving productivity, process discipline, and overall warehouse performance.
• Implement management practices that promote clear accountability, ownership of objectives, and continuity of execution across teams.
• Ensures the site has the capacity to integrate large-scale projects such as onboarding new clients or delivering technical modernization initiatives and supports their implementatio n.
• Lead the local leadership team in coordination with central functions
• Maintain a positive employee relations climate in collaboration with employee representative bodies

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience required. Master’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred. 7+ years of experience in warehouse operations, distribution, logistics, inventory control, supply chain leadership, and operational management, or a related field required. 3+ years of experience in a management capacity required. Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified Logistics Associate (CLA), or equivalent certification preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), Certified Automation Professional (CAP), or equivalent certification preferred.
