Jobtailor, Rouen area, France, seeks an experienced procurement leader to drive strategic sourcing and category management across international operations. You will manage supplier relationships, lead negotiations, and coordinate with supplier quality teams to optimize value, quality, and delivery while ensuring compliance with laws and internal policies.

The role requires strong stakeholder influence and autonomy in a fast-paced, global setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 8–10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or category management, ideally in international and matrix organizations.
• Proven ability to build and execute category strategies in evolving environments.
• Experience managing significant spend across multiple sites or regions.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills in cross-functional settings.
• Ability to work with a high level of autonomy in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Solid negotiation and supplier management experience.
• Technical understanding of industrial categories is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in a multicultural environment.
• English is the official working language; French is not mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Develop a strategic plan for a specific commodity group or strategic suppliers.
• Manage overall relationships with multiple strategic suppliers for the specific commodity group.
• Coordinate with the supplier quality team on commodity issues, including root cause analysis and error-proofing.
• Lead price negotiations, assess supplier capabilities, select new suppliers, narrow the supplier base, and establish mutually beneficial supplier relationships.
• Improve suppliers’ ability to provide quality, cost-effective materials while minimizing inventory.
• Ensure supplier or commodity teams meet Carrier requirements for delivery, quality, and cost.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, procedures, work rules, standards, and guidelines.
